October 3, 2010--Brad Seng
We present to you a wonderful opportunity. On Sunday, October 3, after the 5:00 Mass in the Church, Brad Seng will speak to our parish Youth Group. Brad grew up in the Detroit area, went to Albion College and Wayne State University, and now lives in Boulder, Colorado. Brad is a professional Triathlete and has participated in many Ironman competitions (Ironman Competitions are made up of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run). Brad speaks nationally, and has recently appeared on EWTN’s Life on the Rock.
Brad will speak to the group about “Becoming Champions for Christ.” Just as much goes into his training of body for races and competitions, so too is his training for mind and heart integral. During his talk, Brad captivates his audience with a powerful message on being strong to the core in body, mind and spirit. He knows the unhealthy lures being presented to young people and the strength in character required to run the good race.
