As the Year for Priest comes to an end, consider studying the book of Hebrews where Christ, the compassionate high priest, is the model for all who worship. Wonderful imagery, comprehensive use of the Old Testament, and the conviction that because of Jesus now all have access to God – these are the tools of this unique New Testament sermon. This is an opportunity to examine and enter into the priestly ministry of Jesus and consider your role in the Kingdom of God today.
The study of Hebrews will begin with an introductory meeting followed by six weekly lessons. Come and join Sr. Barbara Rund, OP on Thursday morning (9:30am-11:00am) or Dc. Mike Smith on Thursday evening (7pm-8:30pm), in the Large Conference Room at the Parish Office.
