Organ Composer Monthly
Series
Beginning at the weekend Masses during October, My Associate, David Enos,
and I will be playing a major organ work before and after each Mass.

Kids Needed For Christmas Orchestra
Greetings from the music department! It is that time again when we are
looking for kids (grade 5 - 12) who want to play their instruments for the
4:30pm Christmas Mass on Friday, December 24th. If you are interested,
then bring your instrument to our rehearsals, which are:
Saturday, December 11th - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Saturday, December 18th - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Wednesday, December 24th - 3pm

Happenings
Do you love to sing? What better way to serve God than
through Music Ministry? Our choirs will begin their fall rehearsal
schedules this week. We invite new and returning members to join one of
our ensembles.

Children's Choir
The Girls’
Choir will begin on Tuesday,
September 30th
from 3:00-4:00pm and then every Tuesday after. The girls will sing once
a month at the Sunday 10:00am Mass. It is open to girls who are in
grades 3-6.
*NEW!!!* This year we will begin a Boys'
Choir!
It is open to boys in grades 4-6 and will meet from
3:00-4:00pm beginning on
Thursday, October
2nd
and then every Thursday thereafter. They
will sing once a month at the 10:00am Mass.

Adult
Choir
The Adult
Choir welcomes anyone from high school age on up. Rehearsals are on
Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the choir room (main church building). We
are seeking new members — especially men! The choir generally sings
three out of four Sundays a month at
the10:00am Mass. The first
rehearsal is Thursday, October 2nd
at 7:30-9:00pm. |

| Handbell Choir
Ringers are needed to fill open spots in this ensemble. Rehearsals are
on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. To listen to a piece by St. Hugo's

Bell Choir Opening
There is an opening for one, or possibly two, new members in
our Handbell Choir. You should have some experience with music reading.
Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7:30 pm in the main church. If you think
you might be interested, please contact David Enos in the music office at
248-283-2214.
