Consider How You Can Serve St Hugo
Have you ever considered becoming a Sacristan? Sacristans are the individuals you see assisting the priest in preparing for Communion. They ensure that the proper vestments are available, that the lectionary and the sacramentary are set to the proper readings and that the Eucharistic vessels are set out and properly put away after communion. How to Make the Mass Come Alive Again!
St Hugo has recently installed a system that will afford you front row sound anywhere in the church. We have installed a system similar to the sound system that is available on board a passenger airplane when they show a movie. An individual will utilize a small receiver and ear buds that will enable them to dial the sound level they require to experience the Mass no matter where they are seated in the church. It is possible to purchase your own receiver at the church’s cost. You will need only to contact the church office (248-644-5460) and express your interest in purchasing one of these devices.

A Service with Love
Do you know someone who is homebound, ill or frail, isolated or lonely disabled or impaired? If you have a friend or loved one who could benefit from a friendly conversation by having a volunteer call to check on their health and safety on a regular basis, please call 248-559-1147 ext. 3437. “Service with Love” is a free telephone reassurance program for older adults. This service is a project of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), sponsored by Catholic Social Services of Oakland County.

Eucharistic Adoration Invitation
You are invited to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel on a regular basis as part of our on-going Adoration program. For information, please call Dave Hathaway at 248-333-1639. The generosity of your time and worship will benefit you and others most powerfully.

Christian’s Room Co-op Nursery
A spectacular Noah’s Ark theme-based playroom! Attention Moms and Dads of little ones between the ages of 1 and 4: Would you like to sit in Mass and really listen to and hear the Word of God?!!! Well, we’d like to help!! Christian’s Room is a co-op “nursery” that will be open during the Sunday 10am Mass to ONLY co-op participants!! The great news is that, should you join the co-op, you and your spouse would only need to work the nursery once every 3 to 4 months! On the weeks that you are not working the Room, you are more than welcome to drop off your little one(s) in Christian’s Room to be supervised by another co-op couple/participant! If you are interested, please stop by the Room (across the hall from the Church offices) to sign up or call Kristie Stefani, at 248-641-9867, with any questions.
