Youth Ministry

High School Youth Ministry

by Sr. Barbara Rund, OP

High School Youth Ministry continues to meet on Sunday evenings after the 5:00 PM Mass around 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall.  As we look for a Youth Minister, I will facilitate the evening with the Youth Ministry Team - Christopher Sytek, Emilia Davis, Julia Kowalski and James Wilson.  The Youth Ministry Team has been in place for almost two-years and they are a faith-filled, committed and enthusiastic group of young adults, who want to continue meeting with the Youth Ministry group.

We are meeting this week after the Sunday 5:00 PM Mass around 6:00 PM in the parish hall.  We will begin with dinner (pizza, etc.) followed by an ice-breaker or gym activity, faith topic and video, small group sharing, large group sharing and prayer.  The faith topics are:

• March 24 – Cross: Why did Jesus die?

• March 31 – Faith: How can I have faith?

• April 7 – Prayer: Why and how do I pray?

• April 14 – Bible: Why and how do I read the bible?

• April 19 – Youth Ministry will lead the 12 Noon Good Friday Stations of the Cross in Church

• April 21 – No Youth Ministry, Happy Easter

• April 28 – Spirit: Who is the Holy Spirit and what does he do?

• May 5 – Fill: How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit.

• May 12 - New Life: How can I make the most of the rest of my life?

• May 19 – Attend Parish Picnic as a group

Spread the word, bring your friends and join us this week.  We are looking forward to sharing our faith with you.
