Welcome Danny Azzow!

Hello to all St. Hugo Parish families and teens, my name is Danny Azzow. I am excited to take on my new role at the parish as Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. I am very familiar with these grounds as I spent much time discerning my vocation here before entering the seminary in 2012 to discern the priesthood. In my time in formation, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and I am currently completing my Master’s in Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. I have nearly 8 years of service experience including work in youth ministry, teaching bible study, and involvement in outreach programs in the city of Detroit. I have a passion for working with teens and young adults, to serve as a guide for others that they may cultivate an intimate relationship with Christ and to help others gain a deep understanding of the Catholic faith. It is important for me to ensure that the young people of St. Hugo have programs that support their personal and spiritual development and that the youth programs serve as a place of fun, reflection, and deepening of their love for Christ as the source of all goodness. Please keep me and the youth of St. Hugo in your prayers as you will be in ours. We look forward to an exciting year to grow in the inexhaustible love of Christ.
